Bay Window problem ????
 

ok i'm totally new to this ....i'm having a problem hopefully
someone can offer me some sound advice .....
i have a bay window ....and the bottom sill on the outside
of the house is totally rotted ...you wouldn't even notice it
unless you felt it with your hands ..it feels likea bag potato chips
my question is this .....can i just replace the bottom sill ....i really can't afford to replace the entire window ,,,,,thanks

Yes, the sill can be replaced. I would replace it with treated lumber, cover it with aluminum or vinyl and caulk all cracks and openings.
