Front Door Problem with Knob
 

The knob to the front door of my house is not attached to the rest of lock. I can open the door by pull up and I pull the door open, but I am selling the house and need to fix it. I'm hoping the attached phone describes the problem better. Any ideas are welcome!

Welcome to the site. There should be only one threaded rod in the knob, so you know right away that you are looking at someones mickey mouse repair. You will need to change the whole lock complete with the piece inside the door and they are still around.
