My wife recently hired a family member to do some remodeling around the house. He installed a medal door and frame, and apparently knew as little as i when it comes to metal doors. He has conveniently disappeared so now i have to fix this problem. Just not sure what tool i should use to make the strike plate flush on the door. The metal on metal and having to yank on the door to open it is growing annoying. Heres a couple pics of how it looks now:
