Default multipoint lock set replacement help

http://www.peachtreedoor.com/service/pdf/citadelp.pdf
I have a peachtree patio door, swing type. and the lock set is bad. I can order parts but wanted to take it apart to see what all I needed. I can't for the life of me figure out how it comes out, it looks like there is a set screw that needs to be removed to pull out the connecting rods, but it is inside the darn door. If anyone has any ideas, help would be greatly appreciated. Winter is coming to wisconsin and this is becoming a pain.
Thnx in advance. Linda Baker
