Nailer for windor repair
 

I cannot find a vinyl new construction window that does not leave a gap in the existing siding, so I will repair the rotted wood. I plan to use the vinly composite molding and found that using a hammer and nail did not make for a good job. It seems that the stapler gun with narrow 2 inch staples would do the best.

I would appreciate hearing from an experienced repairman.

Or a brad gun with colored heads on the brads to match the trim.
