Window flashing installation
 

Hi all, new to the forums here. I just bought my first house and plan to do some improvements to it. One of the things the inspector pointed out is that there was no window flashing installed when the new siding was put on so the water is basically draining into my house. How hard is it to install flashing in my windows? I heard you need to peel away the siding and I don't imagine this being difficult since it is vinyl siding. Thanks

Not hard at all once you get the siding removed. To make your job easier, you can purchase a peel&stick membrane type flashing.
