Default Ground Hornets

HELP...I have hornets in the ground under a small evergreen planted right beside my front door...ugh
Any suggestions on how to remove them without burning the house down??

I don't know what they used but, I had a underground bee nest, I called Orkin, they sprayed something and within a few minutes, the nest was completely dead with no return visitors.

Any spray you buy should be the wasp and hornet type and I would wait till after dark to spray as they should all be in the nest at that time. Watch them and see if you can see the place they enter and exit and hit that area hard. It should take care of them. Or you can call in a pro.

A few years ago, they got in a space between the ceiling and the floor above, I got a can of spay foam killer,(don't know the brand) and it said not for use in the home, but I unloaded the can in there during the day. Non came out and late commers didn't go in they just flew around a little and left.
