We have a dance studio that has a uninsulated roof, the space is all open no attic. Question can i use face or unfaced bat insulation on the underside of the roof? The space is heated and cooled year round. Thanks

Is this a gable roof or is it a flat roof?
And no you can not just attach insulation to the roof rafters it will bake the roof.
Why is there no ceiling in this room.

The roof is a barrel roof the surface is asphalt, the high point in the roof is 19ft high the low part is 11ft hi. building built in 1948, steel trusses wood rafters. 6000 sf of space divided into 3 studios.
Their is no ceiling because we like having the open space.
