Hello and welcome drbert
We just had a thread on this topic. Read through it and if you still have more questions let us know .. http://www.houserepairtalk.com/f13/working-around-old-basement-framing-3384/ |
Heyyyy,,,you again?
The other thread answers one part of your question,,,how to do the job right.:D
The other part of your question,,,,by installing a kraft faced paper and plastic barrier, you would be doubling up. This would fall under the big no-no. You only install one vapor barrier, toward the heated space. Paper is best...always. Great question.:) |
