Cedar Posts
I did a lot of yard work this weekend and ended up with a few great cedar posts for some projects down the road.

It's already a beautiful wood, so I'm looking to lacquer it and preserve it through use.

Any suggestion on product and method?

I really like superdeck brand sealers. I use them on all my outdoor wood needs.

Is the application simple?

Does it change the look of the wood at all?

Brush roll spray spill, anyway you like it. It comes non tinted and tinted. I usually use cedar tint because it is almost none but makes the wood look fresh and new.

I'll give it a try.

I'm going to be getting more of these post this weekend.

My FIL is wanting a bunch of them to turn into walking sticks.

My brother did his a lot of his house with ceder post. To keep the fresh look, its best to lacquer them soon after they are pressure washed, and get them out of the weather as soon as you can. The sun and rain really do a number on the look of the ceder.
I'll find you some pics of what he did, and post them here.

That would be great.

I'm going to hold onto a couple and see what I'm capably of.
