Default Filling Nail Holes In Plastic Brick Molding Before Painting

Many of the conventional nail hole fillers are designed for primed wood and the directions state that they are not intended for use on other materials. All nail heads were coated with a metal primer to minimize potential for rusting.

What is the best practice for filling nail holes in plastic brick molding to ensure the material will adhere permanently to the substrate?
