Pretty much the same thing here. Takes up way more of my time than I'd like. Other than forums though, I like to go pistol target shooting when I have the time and the money. My 20 and 23 year old daughters even like to come along every so often. Makes for a nice "father daughter date"

I did too at that age. My Dad always made sure to bring long magazines so I had something to do after 30 minutes of being on the water.

My neighbor makes rods and sold me his spare set up but it was missing a couple parts so I am finding them now. Other then that I have already stocked up on string and epoxy and eyes. I am going to practice on fixing up some old rods I have before I go building new ones.

I got rid a few rods about a year ago. The tips broke when I moved.

I wish I had thought to repair them.

Yesterday I fixed up an old reel and can't wait to use it and also wrapped my first rod. What do you think?

Evidentlly my new and only hobby at the moment is getting the property I live on cleared out.

I went to a hardly visited section of my yard, three more dead trees about to fall.

I'm going to turn this over to my property management agency.

The work load has more than doubled since I got started and I no longer am helping my neighbor.

I love to fish, shoot, and hang out with the wife and kids. All four of my kids are under the age of 6, and they can be alot of fun. My 5 year old loves to fish with me, so that's two hobbies at one time

Little under an acre, all of it wooded except what the house sits on and part of the front yard.

It went without maintenance for a long time.

Before me was college kids. Beer cans everywhere, I have to clear it out to enjoy the space I pay for.

I'm also helping my neighbor out.

He's building a fence and most of the overgrown trees invade on his property, so it became more about getting it done to make it better for him.

I wish I had an acre. That is my dream but in CA that is very hard to do. I have a 1/4 acre now and it seems really small.
