Kitchen cabinet paint help
The cabinets are from late 70's, they are particle board with plastic surround. Their faces were paper with a dark wood grain. While painting the house I decided to paint the cabinets and surrounding support areas. I used a airless sprayer, but it did not go on uniformly and looks bad. In addition there are a couple runs ect. Is there anything that can be done or should I look at replacement cabinets? It would be a lot of area to try to sand even if I did I'd be back trying paint them once again.
Thanks! |
New cabinets if you can afford it, otherwise start sanding. You will have to be careful not to sand through the plastic.
I had excellent results using spray paint on similar construction. |
Sometimes this can be removed with a hair dryer and replaced.
