Kitchen counter top paint
 

Has anyone used the Rust-Oleums counter top paint,not the $300 kit that looks like granite just the $25 paint kit. I just find it hard to believe no primer is needed maybe it's built into the paint?

Think about it, how is a paint or any DIY coating going to stick to a smooth, nonporis surface for long? The only time I would use it is if I just did not have the money for a new top and was looking for a cheap fix until I could afford it, was trying to cover up the flaws to flip a house, or I was on one of those silly DIY shows that show how to do things that are never going to hold up with real life use.

Yeah I just need a quick fix until we redo the kitchen, maybe some very fine sand paper will help it last longer?

I suggest using Giani Granite Countertop Paint. Customers seem happy on their Facebook page and it looks the most like actual rock/ granite.
