I don't allow music on my jobsites. We are a very formal company when it comes to stuff like that. I always feel as if the owner/ general or whoever hired me looks down on us for things like music, dress and how we act on jobsite. At home working on projects it is always on.

I have a home stereo system my wife put together.

It blares inside and out so no matter where we are we can hear it.

The neighbors do the same so I don't feel bad about it.

I know it is a rule with alot of companies.

But I think it is a really stupid rule.

Of course I think alot of rules are stupid.

Must be why I am self employed.

I too am self employed but have a few employees. I don't really like the rule but I am really conservative when it comes to our image at work. We get comments all the time about how professional we act, work and do work and that feels really good so it isn't to hard so we keep it up.

Chrism I am not saying you should not have that rule.

It is your business so you can make the rules.

No hard feelings. Ok?

That's a good looking system, I'll forward a link to my wife and see what she thinks.

I'd like to learn more about that system. Are the speakers a plug in type?
