I bought mine at Kohls and another set at Costco. I paid about 120 a pair.

They plug in and are battery operated incase you want to lug one around, they sound very good for a wireless speaker. They come with that ipod/phone hookup but come with every type of connection. I have mine hooked up to my home surround sound system and kept a second transmitter for an ipod or phone. Our whole family has sets of these and we all use the heck out of em. It's nice walking anywhere in the house or yard and having music. I forgot you get a remote with it for volume and power, I don't use mine but it is a neat feature.

Do you have a wireless headphone setup by chance?

I'm looking for one of those now.

No wireless but I have some decent earphones. I like The Dre over ears, the IE sucked, they would never stay in.
Shure makes some very nice sounding buds that are the most comfortable buds I have ever worn.
The Bose over ear are nice, not a big fan of the IE as they don't seal the ear that great, at least not for me.

I have a pair of Skull Candy that are very nice.

Some of the clearest sounds at a very nice price.

I have actually never experienced using headphones to listen to music.

I would recommend it.

There's something to be said about total immersion.

I may try it if I find a set to use.

I would just spend the $20 in skull candy and then take if further if you like it.

It does get a little odd at times. I often hear the phone ring or people calling my name only to take them off and learn that is not the case.

we used bose tactical headsets in Iraq, and they were pretty awesome. I have since tried the bose noise canceling headphones here in the states and they were nothing short of amazing. I just cant see myself shucking out that kind of cash for headphones! Just think of all the ammo I could buy...
