Default OK, I'll start the Faux Finish HOW TO'S

Why there are no threads concerning anything "faux" I don't understand.

I'm a decorative painter in San Diego and I'd like to stimulate some Faux Finish discussions , How To's and question answering.

Here is a sample board I made for a client recently. He wanted something avant garde for a niche.
The finish is a very cool variation of a strie effect but has a rippled tecture and uses a cheap venetian plaster, a metallic plaster and a stain. Here's a pic of the board.

Full step by step instructions can be found on the HOW TO page of my web site.

Now bear with me if the link or photo don't show up, I'm learning to navigate this site. here goes.
