My family noticed there's a crack in the house's exterior stucco.
A contractor filled it up with a concrete paste, smudged the region (in an attempt to make the new surface even), and then painted it.
However, there's now a noticeable mark as shown in the photo.
Is there anything that can be done to make the mark not as noticeable?
Such as applying a new layer of stucco?

Feathering a new layer of stucco could blend the scar. It needs to be 6"-10" wider on both sides of the crack. Then you need to repaint the stucco. Good luck.

The repair looks it is higher than the original surface. Might try grinding it smooth and then repaint.
