Hi - just finished painting remodeled bathroom. Went to pull tape off of the ceiling and got some areas where the new paint pulled away from the wall. Happened in about five areas - largest one is about 4 inches long and about 1/2 inch down the wall. Can I just sand out these areas and then repaint? Any other suggestions?

yes. clean before you paint again after sanding. You are only sanding to feather the edge of the new paint into the old. Try learning to paint without the tape. It will save time, money and headaches.

Thanks Handyguys: actually ended up spackling; sanding; and repainting. Probably overkill but it did turn out okay.

Don't know if I'd ever get good enough to paint without tape.
