Im working on a large ceramic pot that I am covering with glass tiles. the tiles have been chipped and cut and glued on the pot. Now I want to clean it up a little and am wondering how i go about sanding down areas that are not perfectly smooth. I dont want to chipped off any tiles or scratch them too much. Is this a pipe dream? Do I have any options?

Is it the glazed tiles themselves that you want to make "smoother"?
If so, what exactly is making these glazed tiles "rough"?

If not, can you advise us of what the roughness you want to remove is made of? Is it like dried mortar or grout on the ceramic pot?
