Crack In Ceiling
 

We had the attic insulated today & one of the guys somehow cracked the ceiling.

How can we repair this crack? In the poor picture ya can see where the previous home owner had also repaired a crack there a couple of times.

The crack appears to be paper sheetrock tape that is not bonded well. I would strip all th paper off that joint and use the self-adhesive fiberglass tape to replace it, then just finish it as any other joint.
The hard part is matching the texture.
