crack in wall.
 

I have a 10 year wood framed house. Above the center of one window there is a crack in the drywall that leads up to the ceiling which is about 4 feet. Is this something I need to worry about or does this sound like normal settling?

Hello, No need to worry, very common. Settling has picked the weakest points and that is one of them.(over/under doors & windows) This is very common. Dig out all old spackling and tape, re-tape with paper tape, fill and finish with Durabond45. Sand and finish, paint and your back in business. hope this helps.;)GregC
