Help Plastering a Piece of Ceiling
 

Hello All! This is my first time posting in this forum. I was moving some large furniture around my apartment and hit the protruding part of my ceiling which happens to be a corner. It left a little bit of a gash but it seems repairable. Does anyone know how I would go about repairing it with plaster (process, tools, etc.)? It is not more than a foot wide. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys.
