Left several window units in windows over winter. the compressors won't kick on. Fans are working. Any solutions?

Sometimes you can get them unfrozen by plugging it in, turning it on and place a block of wood, flush to the compressor's side and give it a sharp rap with a hammer. The trick is to not hit too hard so as to upset the internals of the compressor.
