My washer shakes the whole main floor I tried the dampening feet from Home Depot they didn't work the washer shook right off of them! Any ideas what I can do?

Has it ever worked ok at this location? Is this a new occurance? Been doing this from day one?

That -sounds- more like a structure issue than a washer issue....weak sub-floor, nailed down instead of screwed down, etc.

Look inside the cabinet at bottom while it is spinning. This should be when it shakes. One of the three braces on the tub has probably come loose or is broken.

It has to be level. http://www.colourbox.com/preview/447...irit-level.jpg

So my house is fairly new, the floor is level and strong. My washer just vibrates way bad when spinning. Nothing sounds loose or rattles. I believe it's an older maytag I'll look when I get home. Pretty much when I do a load of laundry it shimmies side to side front to back
