Refrigerator GFCI
 

I have a 7 year old GE fridge that tripped the GFCI yesterday. I reset GFCI, but when the fridge went on it tripped again. When I plug fridge into power strip on another outlet, it seems to be working fine. GFCI is as old as the fridge, never any other problems with it. Any ideas on if this may be a fridge electrical issue or GFCI issue?...

I'm surprised you have not had trouble with the GFCI before now. Your refrigerator compressor has a 'start' winding and a 'run' winding. Start gets it up to speed and run takes over. The lapse between the two windings will trick a GFCI and make it kick out.
The refrigerator does not need a GFCI and a simple change of the receptacles will probably cure your problem.
