My step daughter has a washing machine that does not drain model # MAH8700AWW tried taking hoses off used a shop vac to take water out, but still dies not drain help

A front load washer.

This unit has an seperate electric motor and pump for draining. Best to check the hoses and pump itself as things like coins/buttons/wad of lint/bra underwire get caught in these pumps all of the time. If clear we would check for power ( 120 volts AC ) comming to the pump....clear hoses, power to the pump but no draining = new drain pump assembly time.
