Default wedgewood stove repairs

I have a '52 wedgewood 40' stove gold edition and just cleaned it after 20+ years of storage. The pilot lights work but the burners will not llight, as well as the ovens will not either? What gives?
All of the orphaces are clear and the unit is like new. There is no sediment anywhere. Are the valves just old and stuck but why will the stove burners not light. Not even the pancake griddle!? I'm confused. Please help!
