Here's a simple disinfectant you can make:

Mix 50 ml of eucalyptus oil with a litre of water. Store it as you would a normal disinfectant.

Eucalyptus oil has so many other uses too:

- remove sticker residue from glass.

- Add 1-2 teaspoonfuls of eucalyptus oil to your wash - helps kill some nasties and leaves a nice scent.

- Remove paint, grease and ink from clothes.

- Reviving dead car air fresheners.

- Cleaning stainless steel
