Default Bamboo flooring cracks...

Following the grain , Has anyone seen this?
I'm guessing but I would think it is due to drying out of the house to fast?
Or a bad crop?

I'm a bit bamboozled?

I was on a job where they were doing bamboo and it seemed to be some big issue as to how it had to sit for 72 hours or more in the room it was going to be installed in. that might be it.
