Floating Bamboo floor
 

I am doing a reno to my kitchen and would like to replace the laminate with bamboo; however, my house is slab on grade. I intend to put down a new cushion unlay (moisture barrier) but would like to ensure it'll be OK. There seems to be a couple schools of thought as to whether this is the best flooring for this situation.

Bamboo for kitchen is fine not for bath though and is ok on concrete slab but make shore there are no water issues in or around the slab.
