hardwood floor

2 year old hardwood floor has several boards that now have raised edges. I have a house humidifier to prevent drying. Could these be bad boards and what should I do? Should boards be replaced? The rest of the floor is smooth.

Sound more like the humidy is to high. Moisture is the usual suspect.

Moisture is the problem. Thank you for your response. Slide the refrigerator out, the hose from the ice maker had been leaking. I guess I will have the floor company out to replace the damaged boards. Thanks again.

Have engineered flooring installed over concrete slab about 10 years ago. Flooring is starting to "bow" up in certain areas. What is best way to secure the flooring back to the slab?

Jimme; you have to find and solve your water problem first and maybe the floor drys out and goes back down. no garrentees and welcome to the site.
