Found a house for sale to be moved for cheap but it def. needs some work.. I took some pictures of the flooring.. wondering if anyone with experience can give me any advice.. the flooring is really nice in some sections and really terrible in 2.. here's the two really bad places.. how difficult and how costly would something like this be??

Thanks for the reply.. we are planning on having the house checked for termites and a full inspection before buying it. This looks like it could be termite damage to you? So didn't think about it being termite damage! Hmmm....!

yeah, check for termites, carpenter ants, etc.

The repairs are possible.

In general the process is:
remove damaged boards
install replacement boards of same species
sand entire floor
refinish entire floor

Before that you would put a proper threshold and sweep on the door.

Costs? It will cost what the market will bear in your area. Get three quotes from reputable flooring contractors for comparison. No way to say what it would cost from here.
