How much thin-set under Hardibacker?
 
I'm installing 1/4" HB over painted slumpstone bricks using Tapcons. How thick should the Versa Bond be under it (like a 1/8-inch skimcoat or 1/4 notch, etc.)? I would guess the Tapcons are what are really doing the holding. Thanks!
