Kitchen tile - Easy to crack?
 

I tend to drop a lot of stuff on my floor. Is there special tile that is more crack resistant for kitchen use?

You would be advised to selec a porcelain tile with a hardness rating of at least 5. As a porcelain tile it is the same color all the way through, so, if you do manage to chip it somehow it is less obvious. My porcelain tile is 4 years old and has been abused daily by six household members yet still looks fabulous. As important as the tile is, it's installation by an experienced and qualified installer
is equally important.
