I installed stone tile in my shower. I set it on half inch hardie backer using versabond, it is realy on there. There are about 4 or 5 pieces that i would like to remove. I have not grouted yet.
What is the best way to remove these tiles?

Smack the tiles you want to removed until they fragment into pieces. Then remove the chunks carefully with a hammer & chisel.

If you get to them within the first 24 hours, you can often pry them out before the thinset is fully cured. After that, you'll usually end up taking chunks of the backer out as well.
