Tiling Concrete Basement Floor
 

I want to lay tile on my concrete basement floor.

There is a layer of red paint and glue on the floor. What is the easiest and cheapest way to sand the paint and glue off?

I'm currently redoing my basement bathroom that had vinyl flooring, I was left with paint and glue, so I used Goo Gone purchased at Home Depot a few times,
then used Methyl Hydrate to ensure a clean finish. I myself installed in floor heating cable with self leveling concrete covering it, to ensure a level floor for tile. Hope this helps! Regards
