A hammer will take that dimple down quickly. Just flatten the dimples on the bottom of the lap. Leave the top lap alone so it won't destroy any finish.
You may have to watch the tiles and turn them until they fit. All 4 sides may not be the same.
Better to go with the lines than to go with the dimples that are already causing problems.
