Hi all, I was wondering if you can use backerboard for flooring. I was told that it should be used for wall applications only since it isn't as rigid as wonderboard. thanks in advance
It seems as though you have answered your own question. If you were told (I assume by a professional) that its for wall applications only, I think it is safe to say it is not good for flooring.
But out of curiosity... what are you trying to do with it?
thanks for responding. I'm thinking of redoing my bathroom floor and also installing a tiled shower stall floor. I was told by a neighbor who's a handyman.
