Any ideas on adding privacy to my deck?
 

I have a pressure treated deck as shown in the pictures. On the one side I am looking for ideas on adding some privacy to it since it faces a cross street and there is a lot of traffic.

My original thought was adding lattice on top of the current rails. I was thinking doing it in a tiered fashion so it starts at the house where there is a lattice panel the height of the house, and then the next panel a couple feet shorter, and the next a couple shorter…

Any detailed pointers on how to attach securely to the existing rails? Any other suggestions?

Good Thread, privacy screens are becoming popular and most homes have a deck. Hopefully some more out there have good ideas to share.
