Glue on decking
 

Hi,

I will start a project of deck, and i want to know if it's advantageous to use a construction deck glue on the parts?

My deck will have a structure of pressure treated wood, the horizontal surfaces will be of Ipe and some visible parts in cedar. I live in Canada where the deck is subject to winter.

Very dense woods like ipe are somewhat difficult to glue and generally we use epoxy type glues. It is highly recommend that when using any type of glue that sample bonds be made and tested before use in any project.
