My patio roof ceiling is the underside of the plywood and the nails coming through from the shingles. So ugly. Supports are 24" on center. Would like to add a cover that runs between supports to keep as high a profile as possible. Any ideas on affordable materials and track to hold it up would be much appreciated. Roof is in good shape with no leaks but doesn't look finished.

Vinyl soffet is the easiest and likley the cheapest way to finish it. Depending on the direction, which is decided by best use of product, you may have to strap it with 1x4. It come in 2 width, for long runs you want the narrower size for less sagging.
