Cement Patio
We have a home built around 1925 the front has a cement patio with a storm cellar below. Because of moisture over all the years the cement is decaying to the point of falling in. We are now scared to have the mailman or anyone walk on it for fear of collapsing. Does anyone have an idea what we can do?

Break it up. Form it. Pour new concrete.

Ok
And just to add to Joes suggestion about a wooden concrete form.
Another option is to install some steel corrugated deck on top to hold up the concrete while it dries. http://www.litedeck.com/index1.html |
Old thread, but I'll nibble anyway.
Cement is a fluffy, gray powder that comes in bags or bulk. It is one of the ingredients of concrete. Replace your patio with new concrete, if you haven't done it already. |
