Header or Rowlock?
I joined this forum to get a little bit of advice since i can find absolutely nothing on the internet.
Back Story: I have an attached screen porch on the back side of my house. My wife and I decided to enclose and make into a dining room. Framing, siding, doors, and windows all went up easily. Problem: The exterior of my house is brick rowlock/header, this wraps into my dining room (because it was exterior screen porch). Before we put flooring on the slab, I need to find a way to remove this brick from the interior. Possible Solutions: Scribe with a grinder and break with a chisel and hammer. Or maybe find some way to hide/cover it. I will take pics and post it this afternoon to better illustrate what I am talking about, I'm not a professional, just a weekend warrior. I'm scared it I break these bricks out from under the wall that is sitting on them, it may cause a lot of problems. any thoughts and Ideas would be great |
53, pics will definitely help a lot to answer your question.

Is it a wood framed house with brick for siding or is it a brick house? And welcome.
