raised brick deck solution
 

I have a raised wooden deck approx 30in off level ground ( 3 steps) which I want to replace. I would like to use brick or stone. Can someone tell me which is better. Any suggestions for a TIERED deck would be appreciated.

Brick or stone will require a footer (to your state's frost depth), foundation, backfill and a concrete slab. It really gets detailed!
