Any helpful Tips/Tricks greatly appreciated - i am in process of replacing a new roof on an old house - the chimney is basically falling apart - i need to re-lead the chimney (there is none there)..

If the chimney is in disrepair, it first needs tuck pointing before any flashing is installed.

And if it needs a lining this is not a DIY job. Call a sweep to come take a look at it, that or have the house burn down.
