Repointing basement
 

I was just wondering if this is a project I can do in the winter, since it is inside my home and temperature should stay well above freezing :)

The house is 112 years of age and the current mortar is crumbling :) I would like the building to last at least until I am done living there (if I am very luck an there are advances in medical technology, maybe another 112 :))

It will also be an aesthetic thing for my wife, who would like the basement to look a bit more uniform

Anyone have any advice on my issue? Is there a limit to when I can repoint within my basement? Or is it something I can do year round? I live in the Midwest by the way :)

I think your limit would be freezing so you should be fine.
