Just curious to know how everyone is finding this community.

Unfortunately, "community" is too strong a word as of yet. I suspect that there are lots of 1 or 2 time advice seekers here, that won't be back for repeat postings.

That said, there are obviously some repeat users who are putting some effort into answering questions, and some of the discussions have been pretty good. Hopefully, things will liven up a bit more yet.

Very true. Getting more regular users is needed and thanks for staying around and posting!

I tried really hard to build lots of link exchanges thinking that would be the best way to gain a good Google rank which is needed for a forum to grow really.

I had the link on about the first result page for awhile under house repair forum now it's gone altogether. I think the link exchanges ended up getting me delisted even though all the links are relevant to home improvement. Strange.
