the problem with concrete is it will always be moist, you should definately make sure it is not a drainage issue, seal it up and just make sure it can "breathe" alot of issues with mold is simply not drying out.they make automatic humidity controlled fans very reasonable and easy to install ,I've used them for control under flooring over concrete floors ,they are small ,just keeps ventilation going.

susanne ,we rented a house with the same type paneling and I kiltzed and painted it and it turned out great ! My brother moved into the place after we bought our home and the painted paneling is still there and in tact !!

I want to install a built in closet under an interior staircase. The drywall is easy enough to cut away, but the frame is metal and part of it needs to be removed to make place for the closet. Do I just use a hacksaw to cut away the parts I dont need? Do I need to rebuild the frame around the closet? Any help would be appreciated.

Default Concrete Patio repair-any suggestions are wellcome

I have a back patio 428 sq feet-it's all concrete and is badly chipped. There are cracks and holes that get filled with water and there are drips underneath the patio.
Does anybody have any advices for a quick fix on the problem?

Welcome Tik:
You said there are drips under the patio. Is it suspended off the ground? If that is the case you would have to be careful about adding anything to the surface because of weight. I first thought of a 2" concrete cover over the old but that would be too much weight.
I think you might be able to prep the surface with a power sprayer and use some floor-leveler, then use a tennis court type paint to cover the color variations.
