There is not much that's more frustrating than composing an answer and taking the time to type it in - and not realizing that you're not signed in until you hit the 'post' button. Some kind of warning or maybe a way to retrieve your comment before it gets thrown away would be nice.

Do you check the remember me box when you log in? That should keep you logged in when you return.

Yeah, that's why I didn't look to see if I was signed in, because i usually am. Is that a Mac problem? I'm not always sitting at the same computer.
